Hey, I’m 33Vega — musician, videographer, and designer.
I’ve been producing my own content for over 10 years.
By now, you’d think I’d have millions of fans worldwide, right?
Wrong.
For years, I felt like I was stuck in the same spot, grinding but getting nowhere.
If I kept moving at that pace, I knew exactly where I was headed:
A dead-end dream, and a lifetime of regret.
Something had to change — and then it finally clicked:
BRANDING.
When I stepped back and really looked at my content, I realized the problem wasn’t the quality — it was the lack of a clear, consistent story.
I was throwing random pieces into the world without giving people a real reason to care or connect.
That ends now.
In this blog, I’m breaking down the exact 7 steps you need to take to turn your brand and artistry into a powerful, magnetic force that will finally pull the right audience straight to you.
Let’s level up.
7 Steps to Build a Magnetic Artist Brand and Image
1. Clarify Your Core Message and Purpose
• What do you stand for? What emotions, values, or experiences are you trying to share?
• Tip: Think beyond your music or art — focus on the deeper emotional connection you want to create with your audience.
• Example: Are you the voice of heartbreak, rebellion, freedom, spirituality?
2. Define Your Audience (“Your People”)
• Who are you speaking to? Who needs your message the most?
• Build an avatar: their age, style, problems, dreams, music taste.
• Tip: The more specific you get, the easier it will be to attract the right audience.
3. Choose Your Archetype(s)
• Pick one (or at most two) brand archetypes to embody — this will be the heart of your image.
• More on archetypes below (important for creating a recognizable “world” around you).
4. Craft Your Visual Identity
• This includes your style, color schemes, logos, photoshoots, album art, social media visuals.
• Tip: Every piece of visual content should reinforce your archetype and message.
• Example: If you are “The Rebel,” your visuals might be raw, gritty, and dark.
5. Tell Your Story Over and Over (Consistency = Trust)
• Use interviews, social media, music videos, captions, and live shows to retell your core story in different ways.
• People buy into stories before they buy into products (or music).
• Tip: Your story isn’t just your biography — it’s the emotional journey you invite people into.
6. Build a “World” Around Your Brand
• Think of your brand as a living universe: fashion style, slang, beliefs, inside jokes, symbols.
• Make your fans feel like they’re part of an exclusive tribe by immersing them in your “world.”
7. Evolve Naturally, Stay Authentic
• As you grow, your brand will evolve — and that’s good! But the core emotion and purpose should always stay recognizable.
• Tip: Authentic growth keeps fans loyal. Forced “rebrands” confuse and repel them.

Important:
Pick one main archetype and (optionally) one secondary. Mixing too many confuses your audience. You want them to instantly “get” who you are.
